After my rare cancer diagnosis in 2025, I found very little additional support available for self employment for those who need extra business support, especially for those who have limited long term health conditions or disability .
Just because you cannot return to normal employment, does not mean you are incapable of working. I have been so frustrated with the world of business and employment. It is like we are the forgotten , hidden people of the world where we no longer feel important or acknowledged because we can no longer work in an office, in a team or be able to travel to customer/ client appointments.
